Short summary:
We are looking forward to 12 weeks of good ideas on raising the next generation. Every Thursday evening, we will watch and discuss Family Films, a course consisting of 12 sessions on parenting and education. The course starts on January 23 and lasts until April 24. Learn more about each session in this article.
Learn about education and parenting in an informal and enjoyable way. Be stimulated by a selection of grand movies and discuss commonly encountered issues with other parents and caretakers. Share experiences and develop new perspectives to better support yourself and the development of the next generation.
We have gathered a small peer group and facilitate the course in BIZ, where we have 12 seats for each session. The session facilitator chooses one film from each meta-theme and moderates the respective session. The course therefore effectively consists of 12 sessions of each approximately 3 hours duration. Our first film will be The Tree of Life.
Film Meta Subjects covered in 12 sessions:
º Parenting Styles
º Standardized vs Non-Standardized Education
º Ecology and Parenting
º Waldorf Education and Anthroposophy
º Storytelling and transgenerational communication
º Technology & Family Life
º Parenting and Diet Choices
